47 cars so far.
Looks like just 2 from Rennlist. That's sad. We used to do drives all the time - monthly GTGs at Hooters, runs to Clewiston or the Keys. It was a nice, relaxed, means of enjoying our cars and hanging out with friends. I'm sorry to see it has all gone away from this site. John D and I formed this subsection to provide a forum for us to hang out virtually and in person.
No big deal; time moves on and so shall we.
Vayo con dios beeches. No need to reply (as if)

You need to have an email list, or PM previous drivers. I don't log in rennllst often, but I saw and went on your last drive to Clewiston.
And I think when the S Fla drives were started they were more regular, such as 1st Saturday of the month to XYZ for breakfast. Anyway if you send me a PM ( better yet email as PMs don't seem to get forwarded from here..) I will most likely be there.

You're right; we used to do monthly GTGs at Hooters. We stopped for the holidays about 4 years ago and it never came back. Sending an e-mail - having a list - about upcoming drives is a good idea, but not so easy to make happen. Someone would have to compile e-mail addresses, which would first mean that you'd have to have access to the various e-mail addresses. That isn't going to happen without a major effort. I don't know anyone who is willing to take on the role. if you are, that'd be wonderful.
PMs are a similar beast. No need for e-mail addresses, obviously, but you have to figure out/guess who might be interested and send the PM, then repeat 40-60-80 times.
The Breakfast Club drives also had a lot of initial enthusiasm, but that has since gone away. I personally have zero interest in having to get up so early as to be in South Beach (or a similar location) in time for an 8am or earlier drive. I love to do drives. I hate to get up early on the weekend. But that's just me. If others want to resurrect these drives, go for it.
If people won't bother to submit a 3-word reply to the various drive notices I used to post, they probably are not going to drop everything and send their e-mail address to one person or otherwise let someone (not me) know they "might" be interested in future drives to compile and use for e-blast announcements of future drives. Individual e-mails also require individual answers/replies, which if multiplied by 40-60 people, suddenly takes a lot of time to make happen.
New rule: if someone has a great idea, they get to implement it.
