O.K., it has been a long time....so February 28, 2009 at the Hooters at Cypress Creek will be the first WHaP (Wing, Hooters and Porsches) get together of the year. There may even be a drive to Coral Castle afterwards, but let's just see if we can get more than 4 people together for lunch!

I'm taking my beast in tomorrow for its 30k service, so it'll be ready to rumble next week.

I'm having The Collection do the service, even though it means driving further. It's worth it - in my opinion - to avoid the doofuses at Champion.

The PBIR Targa 66 is $1500 for the weekend to do track time. No single days.
Personally I would prefer to have lunch at Hoots shoot the **** , see the cars
and have the rest of the day for other family stuff. Just my $2.

$1500?? if that's the case, of course I agree 100%. I had the impression we could just go for the day and pay a nominal amount. I'll go back and read the e-mail in detail.

Here is what I was sent. Yes, you can sign up for the entire weekend, but what I was referring to was the Saturday 'drop in & watch and do a lap' option. Not $1500.

For the first time in its 18 year history, this event will be open to the public. By special invitation from Brian and James Redman, PCA members will be able to gather and view this event for the gate fee of just $15 per person in a PCA parking corral on Saturday, February 28 from 10am-3pm.

At lunch there will be parade laps at slow speed. Immediately following will be track touring laps with more speed and a cost of $20 per car.
