Default How does one change thread title?

I recently updated a thread I started titled "Pics of airbag dash recovered in leather" with pics of the dash installed in the car. I'd like to update the title to say "Pics of airbag dash recovered in leather **Updated w/install pics**"

I tried to edit it myself but looks like changing the title is something mods have to do?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

I can't remember if editing the thread title is a moderator only function... I just updated your thread title. If I learn otherwise I'll let you know.

Terrific, thank you. I think I read somewhere that it can only be changed by members within the first 5 days. I just tried it on this thread and it appears to have worked.

Thanks again.

I used to edit my project thread title constantly with little updates... Recently it stopped letting me change the title...

If it's something I can no longer do, could a mod please change my title to be more general?: "My Project Thread - Butters944"

THANKS, KEITH

I've asked Bob the Admin to assist you.

Any other Mod that sees this can assist as well.

The problem is that the title as it appears in the main page view does not change after some number of days - this is a known issue.

The page view shows the title as:

Car is finally presentable (Butters944's project) --Coilovers finished 2/17--

Only a Moderator can change that title view - by double-clicking on the title.

That's odd. Thanks Randy. Title fixed in main page view.

You can change it yourself within a few days.

Click the paper/pencil icon located at the bottom right in the first post, then click the 'go advanced' button to access the title edit function.

In that case it will take a Moderator to change it on the forum view page.

Send a PM to 911SLOW (he posted above in this thread) - he'll help you out.
