This is an issue that seems to happen at random.

I spend most of my time in the 928 & Cayenne forums.

Every once in a while, a thread will show up in bold, meaning a new post.

I click on it, and there's no new post, so it takes me to the top of the thread. I go back to the forum list, and the "last post by" shows a username that doesn't match the name on the last post that I can read.

When I go back to the forum, the thread is still in bold, even though I have opened it.

It doesn't seem to happen with the same user, the same thread, or even the same forum.
I don't have anyone on my "ignore list."

Does anyone else see this?
Or know why it happens?

I have seen this several times. I got a notice that someone posted in a thread I was subscribed to and when I clicked on it, no new post although last post shows someone made a post...very strange!
