In the past, when I copied and pasted the URL from a You Tube video, it would embed the video into my post. For some reason, now when I do it, all that happens is that a link is posted in the thread.

Can you please let me know how to correct this? Thanks!

Yes, a known issue.

A work around is to copy the video address into the YT function - accessible in the Go Advanced option.

So on your video the address is all the characters after the = sign - NOT the entire YouTube URL:

JUST This:

gPAW9dc9lCA

Using the YouTube option on the reply control panel gets you this:




Don't tell Pturbo or else he won't have anything to complain about.

Please check out yesterday's related thread -- 'Automatic' instagram embedding is now "Erratic" embedding.

In the past, when I copied and pasted an Instagram URL, it would embed the media into my post. Sometimes now all that happens is that a link is posted in the thread.

See thread for examples of posts that used identical Instagram URLs:
automatically embedded media in one post, while two others only show gray hyperlinks.

Please let me know how to consistently embed IG media again. Thanks!
