How can I delete this post?
Dear ALL:
My apologies! I just realized that I post this in the wrong place. How Can I delete this?
Thanks and sorry in advance.
After spending the last couple nights (long nights) reading on this forum, I came to the conclusion that the 09 997.2 Cab is the best choice. Unfortunately, it also comes with a higher price tag (and miles) that could buy "literally" a new corvette C7.
The prices and miles are the following
07 997.1S cab manual with 20 K miles = $43,000
09 997..2 cab manual with 25 K miles = $48,500
09 997.2S cab manual with 30K miles =$52,300+2year warranty (if needed) = $55K
'16 Corvette C7 NEW $55,000
I drove today the C7 (and the 07 997.1S the other day), and definitively was a very nice ride, and in many ways superior to the 997.1S I test drove over the weekend, but it is just a two seater, and even though it would be my second car, I think it would be nice to have a 4 seater (or a sports car that my 7 year old and someone else would fit in the front. I would keep my SUV as my daily driver.
I thought about Mercedes E class cabrio, the BMW 650I, the Jag XK, but non of them (except the JAg), had the true sport car factor and the timeless look like the Porsche.
Questions: in regards to the 911, is the 997.2S the best option in spite of the higher miles & higher price tag? If the answer is yes, would you also consider a new car like the corvette for the same price than this car?
For single parents, have you even bought a two seater sports car when you a little one? if so, did you wish you bought a 4 seater (in this case, the 911).
Thank you so much in Advance. FIRST TIME IN THIS SITUATION, and NEVER have considered this kind of purchase. As of now, I am planning to buy the 997.2S this week, but still nervous to spend that kind of money on a used 911.
THanks for any advise.
