Outside of tracking messages and creating folders, I don't think we're able to search our PM's.

Download them as txt and search.

I convert them to PDFs for increased search functionality.

Yes we need a search function. Try searching ,on a daily basis, through 5000PMs for the user that asked a question about a thread you deleted last month..

You can hack the current vB and add a plug in but the newer version (when /if we ever use it) should have it built-in.

Try posting this kind of stuff in the Help forum as it is monitored by IB Tech Support.

Lo and Behold! We have a new "Display Options" function in the PMs.
Big thanks to IB for this. Christmas came early for mods.

I maxed out on the messages in my inbox, I had to save hundreds to a CSV file, but you have to friggin select the messages you want to download... all I need is a "download all" button... arrrgg.

Anyway this is very helpful.

I was able to search relatively easy. I opened the first one and realized it was not the one I was looking for so I opened the other one..... <sigh>.

Go to the bottom of the page of your inbox and see the new search option - and it works! Hooray!!
