Meh, who really drives over 130-140km/h anyways? I don't think what people are rallying about is the high speeds in itself, it's the speed differential when you're coming up on a pack of slower moving vehicles.
I was bored with the autobahn after a couple times over 100 mph, now I just set my cruise at 90mph and it's still a PITA when there's ANY sort of traffic.
Want to drive fast? Drive the 'ring.

Germany does not want to impliment the EU standards for speed limits. The Greens are the pressure group. The post should more properly read "support Germany in maintaining unlimited Autobahns".
