Question Nurburgring question

On an old Grand Prix course that was part of the Nurburgring there is a turn called "Romer-Kurve". Does anyone know why it is called that or what it is named after? Are there any books on the history of the Nurburgring or any web sites that might have this info?
Thanks, Rich

I found this on this German site discussing name changes due to sponsorships on the Nürburgring. I believe that they are talking about the GP track part of Nürburgring.

"Die Startgeradeneingangskurve hieß ursprünglich Römerkurve später wechselte der name zwischen Coca Cola und Pepsi hin und her."

Which according to my limited knowledge of German means "The entry curve to the start strech was originally named Römerkurve, later the name has changed back and forth between Coca-Cola and Pepsi"

Hope this helps.

Thanks Peter
I have an old track map showing all the names of the curves. I really want to find out why it is named
Romer-Kurve.
