I'm speaking with a store outside of the GTA. And if I can get what I want, it'll be $4200 difference.

I know the GM of Angus' store. He actually put me in touch with your nephew, as he handles deals for the GM's friend. Sadly, Angus has dropped the ball three times. I feel like I'm trying hard to make him money - which is not the experience I want. I also don't feel like rewarding poor salesmanship & customer service.

It seems that business is great for these dealers and no one has the time to follow up.
I'm dealing with a guy that is really on the ball, at the moment.

I have a friend that has had 5+ $100k AMGs in the last few years, who introduced me to his guy at MB downtown. I was enquiring about a C43. I met him in person, then followed up with an email - two unanswered emails and I moved on.

I've always just used an invoice site [car cost canada, unhaggle, etc] and added 2.5%. Frieght & PDI extra. Walk in with that number. Walk out if it's not enough. I did 2.25% on a Honda Fit, but that was best. Car sales is another industry waiting disruption. Bring on Amazon car!

I got a C300 for my dad, he likes it, Lease deals are reasonable right now. Remember, another $2000 off is really $1000 off due to 50 % residual, so you are arguing over $1000 over 3 years, which is like $ 27 a month. Dealers aren't going to give the cars away. Let them know you have the Car Cost data and they will usually give you a reasonable deal.

Haven't considered leasing? You can buy one for the same price or little bit higher since you're not considering Porsche. And if you find one, try dsrleasing.com on how could give you a bit of information.

I thought lease residual values were based on MSRP, less % depreciation. The negotiated price has nothing to do with the residual. I stand to be corrected since I don't lease.
