Default My Austin F1 Trip

Hello Everyone - shopping for a 911 for the 2017 driving season. Planning an Artisano visit next Saturday - hoping to meet some of you.

I did a road trip to the Austin F1 in October and thought some might be interested in some of my pics. I was lucky enough to attend as a Ferrari guest.

Apologies for the bottom-side-up pics. They are correct on my laptop..

Anyways - epic trip. A lifetime opportunity...

Wow, those are some cool pictures. It must have been a blast. Austin is a neat place, I have only been there once, to buy a new Catalina 270 sailboat of all things. Great music scene, a great food scene, and an F1 to top it all off.

Thanks for sharing!

It was a total blast. In the Ferrari garage all weekend long, standing under the podium and having champagne rain down. Not likely to have this opportunity again....

Was able to correct the Seb picture...nice guy. Kimi ws not as available for pics after the race as he had a DNF.

Amazing! Yes, these F1 trips are rather fun when you obtain unlimited pit access.

I did a similar trip back in 2006 at the Italian GP (2nd last win for Schumacher and last one in Italy).

Nice. I was shooting for Monza also, but we couldn't get the passes made up in time. That would have been epic-epic!

You should check out Rudy's BBQ...their smoked turkey was delicious.

Great pics boys. Monza is my dream race to go to but it will have to wait until I retire.

Yeah sorry for throwing my pics out but I hardly know anyone who's done a full blown F1 package before. My seats were the end of the straight at Monza and I literally ran the entire straight in order to get to underneath the podium at race end. Worth the effort!
