Three Wheelin'
Same here...have been asked a few times at Ikea & Home Depot how I'm going to manage to get my purchases home
ha ha I love that!!
Some people are just too precious with their cars but not this guy (but maybe not his car)
I get the strangest looks when I leave Home Depot or Rona with 2x6x12's sticking out the back, bags of whatever on the front and back seat etc. With the top down it makes a surprisingly good pickup!!
Throw down a few towels and youre all good! Never had any damage from anything I have "hauled"
I almost took the 911 up to cut our Christmas tree but I couldn't get all 4 of us and the tree in!

California doesn't issue temporary license plates, so the car can be driven legally with a permit in the glovebox for a certain period of time (I believe it's as long as 6 months). Some people there (Steve Jobs was an example) change cars so quickly that they never attach a plate to their cars.

Drifting
Correct that was in NY state as Jay was driving back from Daytona and got caught in a freak late October snow storm. The young couple who live in that house saved his life by taking him in, feeding him and letting him spend the night vs freezing to death in his car.
And yes they are all just hunks of metal in the grand scheme of things.

woops didn't realize there was 2 pages to the thread... love the pic of Jay's car in the snow storm. and I love that some people use there cars practically and are not too worried about it. We only live once!
