Been waiting for info for a year now. We have a 2014 TDI wagon. Perhaps a new All Track is in our future!

Lots of grumbiling around the world - China is one - about the settlement screwing the rest of the world to satisfy Americans leaving very little on the plate for everyone else. To some extent that is true as the company does have finite resources that makes the pie a lot smaller to split for everyone left out of this settlement. But on the other side of the coin is that the US did buy more of these cars and discovered the issue where other countries did not. Only China has the pull to be able to tell VAG to give the same settlement or no more importation of *any* VAG built vehicle to their markets.
Canada? Don't make me laugh. You'd be lucky to get a free ice scraper out of them!

Well we already got the $1000 pre paid cards and I got $2000 off a new GTI for being one of the effected TDI owners. We will get a buyback. Will It be as good as the US? maybe not. I'd be content to keep the car and continue to enjoy the torque and the 5.5 l/100klms.
