Finally in the driverseat of 981 cayman, the first porsche
Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself into the forum, now that i finally pulled the trigger on the very first porsche. 981 Cayman base with still under warranty plus extended warranty after.
I've been lurking on this forum for the longest time. I've had pleasure of owning fun cars in the past but never posrche. I come from Lotus Elise, which was really fun and .....fun. no creature comfort, no nothing. it barely had AC as a luxury item. On the other hand, Cayman is very comfortable, very balanced and practical at the same time. Lotus was nothing but practical.
anyway, hope to join the saturday coffee meet!

Are you driving it in the winter?
Now is the time to go get your snows, before the rush and Kaos.
Photo from Oct 17th last year. I have a cottage project that will be starting next week. Late cottage work? Always brings early snow.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
The car came with 2 sets of wheels. One on the picture and cayman base wheel with snow tires. However, since this is the summer car it will be stored for the winter. I have Land Rover Discovery and Audi A4 Avant for daily use.
As far as track time, I do really want to get back on the track life. I've been very active in track days and HPDE days for about 15 years. And for about 7 years of that, I've been organizing private track days at Dunnville Autodrome when it was operational. Some of you from Rennlist actually joined quite a bit of my track days as my days usually had max cap of 15 participants. After Dunnville went bust, i stopped organizing and also with the new born, I stopped my track days all-together. I do really want to get back on it though.
Are you guys still meeting up at Artisano on islington these days on saturday morning?
