Default Tire suppliers?

My Cayenne is getting close for some new shoes and I`m considering my options

What does everyone do for replacement tires?

New locally (pretty pricey but the easiest for sure) or new online (did that once before on another vehicle and saved a little cash)?

One of the guys I work with has driven down into the states and got tires - he reckons theres a good saving to be had and I aint too far away (Okanagan area)

Thoughts?

I've done both but most recently ordered from Steelcase Tires and got a really good deal. With the exchange rate where it is going south of the border makes less sense.

Got a smoking deal on a set of rear tires from skywheel in Markham for my c4s.

Pirelli pZero rosso tires for way cheaper than anyone else could touch.

+1 for Tires23. But they might be a bit of a drive from the Okanagan area.

I'd also recommend checking Costco. A couple months ago I got a ridiculously awesome deal on a set of PSC2 from there.

+1 for Steelcase, during peek season they open Sundays as well to make sure everyone gets taken care of.

It looks like you're in B.C.
Try 1010 tires, they ship but I don't know their prices.
Tire Rack used to be cheap when the CDN. dollar was close to par.
Costco may be cheaper as well.

Tire rack ships. A few years ago Damian (sp) quoted me CDN$ landed at my door. Still cheaper than domestic.
Sniffer- Is your Cayenne running run flats? I went non-run flat Continentals on my eX5, 8lbs lighter per corner. I enjoy the drive more.
Really what is a run flat? You can drive 8o kms? 8o kms to where? A gas station with a rack of 13" replacement tires?

If you are going to Merica, make sure to claim the tires when returning.

You can also try:

https://www.tiredirect.ca/

http://www.quattrotires.com/ Which I have found to be the cheapest, or

http://www.1010tires.com/ I have purchased a number of Falcon tires for my '87 924s

Lastly, there is https://www.4tires.ca/

My concern is getting them mounted after they arrive at your door.

Why is that a concern?
