Default Looking for a modified 996 Turbo

Anyone looking to part with one or know of someone with one for sale? Not looking for a garage queen.

There quite often seems to be a black one on Craigslist Vancouver boasting mods and pushing over 600 horses, been advertised on and off for well over a year

I'd call James at SCAN and ask him if he knows of any forsale. He has a good read on the market and would likely know if a customer car is forsale. Probably higher probability that you find a good car this way.

I don't see it listed on their site or anywhere else, though I appreciate the heads up.

I spoke with the owner, its a non X50 with an exhaust of some kind and a tune. Nowhere near 600 hp. He knows nothing about the car, I had to walk him through the steps of even determining if it was an X50 or not.

No affiliation. Just a listing at a local toy box dealer.

The 996 TT belongs to a Rennsport PCA member who has his car maintained by Andrew at WeTune , they do not sell cars, it belongs to a customer.

I've seen Dan's car, it's a solid well cared for example worth looking into !

I would not be stuck on x50. On street it is not that useful and can be surpassed with a simple tune and exhaust on a nonx50 and more driveable. And if you want the bigger turbos there are much better options available. Good luck with your search, these are great cars.

My current daily driver has 450 to the wheels in a lighter chassis, I'm looking for 500+ in whatever I end up buying. If I ended up finding a good enough deal on a non x50 car I would be installing those parts or better on the car pretty well immediately.
