Was expected, Porsche technically could countersue, but obviously won't due to public image. Law suit shouldn't have been brought in the place first place.

It's one thing if a part broke on the car resulting in a recall but driving high speed on cold 9 year old tires at a 100 mph on city streets is not the fault of any manufacturer.
If anything, the Walker family should have sued the drivers estate or the organizers of which I'm sure were well insured.

This lawsuit was not brought forward by the Walker family. There is more to it then what you hear in the media. The media often seems to get the details wrong or leaves information out in reports. The organization behind the event was Walker's charity organization.
Either way, the driver was driving way above the speed limit in a industrial area. Not on the open road or track.

First paragraph of the article:
"A federal judge in California today ruled that Porsche is not at fault for the 2013 crash in a Carrera GT that killed Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas. The ruling was made in a lawsuit brought against the automaker by Rodas’ widow."

Probate papers filed in 2014 stated that Rodas was partly responsible for the accident but countered that he was “not directing the car through any particularly unsafe maneuvers when it went out of control.”
huh ?? i wonder if they have youtube in courtrooms ?

His 17-year old daughter sued Porsche and the driver's estate. As noted, the judge tossed the suit against Porsche. She was awarded a $10 million settlement against driver's estate. Good luck collecting that. She and her scumbag attorney should go hide under a rock.

She really believes Porsche killed her father and not the driver? Is she soft in the head?
