Default Toronto area body shop

I'm looking for a reliable body shop that can paint and install a rear 3rd brake light wing on my C2 which will replace the ugly "ET" light. I would prefer a shop that does work on Porsches, only because then I'd know that their work stood up to high standards.

I live in Mississauga, so anything between Oakville and Toronto would be great.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Syd

There are two that I would highly recommend.

Rote Technology/Collision Networks 905-669-1665 and ask for Steve Rotenberg

or-

Excellence Auto Body and ask for Peter Wu (sorry, I don't have a number on hand).

Rote is in the Jane/Hwy 7 area and Excellence is in the Derry Road/Martin Grove area. Both have vast experience with Porsches. Please let them know that I referred you (Alon with the 996)

Peter Wu, very messy office, clean shop, very nice work.

Peckster? I'm not sure I want to know what that means.

Woo, not Wu? Ok, Woo it is. Thank you for the correction. As far as my question, I didn't realize that your name is Peck. With a name like Alon, I wouldn't dream of making fun of anyone's name.

Syd ... Rick Impera of Impera Autobody on Kennedy RD, Scarborough, south of Ellesmere RD (401). He fixed my Outback after I got T-boned.

Nick and Paul

NX Autobody (416)438-8242 works on lots of Porsches, and all of Paul Tracey's collector cars. Small shop, but the best quality work. Check out the E-Type there now and the Shelby Cobra.

My porsche mechanic, Werner at Central Motors in Toronto, has recommended Beltsos Auto (929 Queen E., Toronto) for body work. They are slated to do some bodywork on my 944 in January (currently awaiting parts). Will post my level of satisfaction with them then.

Hey Syd, Fraser Park Collision in Burlington did some work for me after he was highly recommended. The work was impeccable. If you call them ask for Jules (Juliano). The company has changed its name so if you can't find them, email me and I will get you a number. He's not cheap but does a perfect exotic.

Cheers,
