The GTA stores are getting these kits in on a weekly basis. Some will hold for you if you ask nicely. I think I'm going to try and go that route. One location said they actually have a line-up every week at opening for them. Apparently it is the highest demand model to date (according to the person I spoke with anyway)

Got a tracking number, ETA is shipped to my door by tomorrow. I don't remember actually getting an email from Lego with a status update. I just happen to check the status of my order out of pure curiosity and noticed that it had shipped.

Mine will arrive tomorrow. The funny thin is the email they sent me two days ago (the same day it was shipped) said that it was still out of stock and it will be longer before it is shipped.
