I think the Purple will be like the Green of the 997.1 GT3 RS', most people will get the orange or a shade, but the Purple will be the rarest and eventually most desirable.

Also you know there are going to be some meets where a few of these guys show up and they have exactly the same car even if its 1/600 made. This year at Hershey we saw more 991 GT3s than all the other 991s put together. It was a sight not too dissimilar to this:

So the unique colour rules... too bad PTS isn't an option with these GT3 RS' guess hard to make sure the paint looks consistent on aluminum, carbon, magnesium and steel.

There is an excellent review from Andrew Frankel in Autocar Here:http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/...-gt3-rs-review

Quote:
"Should I buy one?:
It depends. This is not an easy car to drive extremely fast and if you’re not going to drive it extremely fast there would seem to be little point in having one. It is a car that will challenge you as a driver and, I have no doubt at all, be not in the least shy about punishing mistakes. A standard GT3 is a far more forgiving car and for many who want that every day ability but don’t need the on-limit nuttiness, it is by far the better choice.

But while there remains a small constituency of drivers ready, willing and able to make the effort and happy to get out only what they put in, so they will revel and delight in the experience offered by the GT3 RS on the track. That it will also prove so superbly civilised all the way home is perhaps its most remarkable facet of all.

In short, and for anything approaching the money, nothing else even gets close."

Ronan, at least you'll take it to the ring and the autobahn, so limits will be tested, either yours or the cars I am sure back in Toronto it will be frustrating to drive down straight highways at 100 kph

So is just about every Porsche. Not to worry, I have a Smart diesel when I want to find the limits of performance on Ontario roads
