This is why I jumped on my manual transmission 991. Rare. Oakville said 90% of their cars sold are PDK.

Pitty if that happens. I think were closer to having a combined system that converts to both options with a flick of a button and gear level lock then it disappearing all together.
Clutch will be operated by 3rd pedal or with both paddles pulled back. Rev matching and flat shifting on/off with a touch of a button. It will on be based on PDK and technology we have today but modernized so that purists can enjoy old fashioned driving skills with varying degrees of what the computer is doing for them.

Hopefully Porsche will be the leader of this, but I see GM and Nissan probably further ahead.

Looks to me like an Audi TT. Prefer the old style.

Well... the good news is that we all like different things and we are all entitled to difference in opinion.

But based on your comment, I looked at it again, and tried to keep an open mind. I looked, and looked, and looked... Nope... don't like it. To me it looks like the did not finish the design process and just kicked it out the door... the various areas of the car contrast each other too much.

Audi's have always been a bit sterile in their look.
Especially any silver or gray but I still like it.

i believe bacura is correct. i dont know about 5 years but it's a matter of time before the MT gets completely phased out on performance cars.

as always, its all about money in the end.

To me it looks more luxury and less sport.

V10 Plus starts at 187,000 Euros.

Converted to $Cdn $261800 , only a 40 % increase

Might as well buy a Huracan.

I think they will also make a twin turbo V8. Waiting to see that and pricing.

Haven't looked myself but how did the original design hold up value wise in the used car market? Hopefully not like the rest of the Audi model lineup

There is such a limited suppy of R8s that it's kinda hard to figure out what's going on. Then there is the V8 vs V10 and r tronic vs 6 speed manual. I would say your looking at 120k for a very clean low km's 2010 V10 manual coupe right now. One thing for sure is that good ones sell fast.
