Default new toys for the garage

Went by Cdn tire in Stouville yesterday to pick up some crazy glue and noticed they were selling all these air tools for a great deal. Picked it all up for about 450 taxes in.

Jumper: let me know how flexible or stiff that hose is when it gets cold... Curious about the quality at CanTire...

Sry never gets cold in my garage. The hose it pretty great, I can get to all 4 bays from where it is. I did try out the impact wrench, bit weak still need to use a breaker bar first, maybe I needed to go with a stronger pump.
I changed out my brake pads today and I couldn't get the caliper pin to move with a punch and hammer on one of my calipers. Main reason I wanted this since I spent hours trying with a hammer muliple time in the past with no luck, took 1 sec to come out after I used the air hammer.

ah! 450 was also including a 5l castrol for the oil guzzle and wify through in a bunch of saran/aluminum wrap and cleaning stuff. So actually little bit less for the toys.

I bought a similar all tools included compressor and hose package from PA about 6 years ago. I too found that the impact gun that came with the set was a little weak. I invested in a stronger Ingersoll Rand impact gun and it now requires no pre breaker bar fussing about. So you may not need a stronger pump. I would still like to get the retractable hose though, but with a tight low ceiling garage, location is difficult predicament

Same here. Went in for a cut of meat and walked out with a five year supply of aluminum foil.

I've got the same hose and tools for almost 2 years now. Hose is great in all temps, impact wrench is starting it crap out but I beleive it comes with a lifetime guarantee, so I'll try to switch it out this spring... Nice tank btw, I need a new one.

The impact wrench is easy to bring back to life. Theres a plastic piece inside that rotates and gets gummed up with oil and moisture. The wetness of the air is culprit though. Especially in summer the compressed air contains a lot of water and it's best to get a separator on the line on the compressed air side.

There are high flow connectors available. The impact gun might be marginal, and also not getting enough air at the gun end.

I read this on garage journal. My next trip to Harbor freight I will pick some up to try.

A new gun shouldn't have problems with lug nuts. Axle nuts maybe.

I've had the Stanley impact from CT for a few years now and happy with it.

Unrelated, I think that hose reel is supposed to be vertical.
