^I wouldve painted all the red accents black and the wheels also and called it a day. I was driving on the gardiner one day along side this car back in 2012 and was absolutly blown away by the pressence the car had in the road.
Please tell me u bought it!
Ps - OP I think you have a good case to get the car fixed properly under CPO. You just have to talk to thr right people. I would exert every avenue and get your car foxed properly. You have a beautiful machine and and its time is better spend on the road and not in the shop awaiting to be fixed. Good luck

Indeed... Funny! All the best with yours as well... There aren't many orange ones out there so keep them alive indeed...

Mods please delete thread, a satisfactory compromise was found for all parties involved. Thanks to all Rennlisters who showed support and gave me tips, it definitely helped.

Glad to hear it was resolved. Hopefully you are keeping the RS. Inrev: you can close this thread by pressing the button at the bottom marked closed. However this thread should remain.

I wander if Porsche is trying to avoid this negative publicity or decided not to engage the lawyers and compromise? In any case, glad you are satisfied with the outcome. Are you keeping the car?

my guess is he made a deal with them either to fix or for a cayenne and part of the deal was to remove any details which he posted on social media. IMO kind of a wimpy way to settle it. If I ran Porsche and things got this far I would have him post that we reached a settlement for the car to be fixed or whatever and that Porsche is now back in his good books.

All this proves is that the dealer probably strong armed him, probably with a threat of litigation for damages caused by the thread. And then offered a resolution but only if he removed his comments and or the thread.
And we only ever heard one side of the story.
So still looks bad on them. Fail!
