Why isn't Porsche Canada trusting the delaer in Quebec? Is this also a Porsche dealer?

A rebuild engine or replacement engine defintely hurts resale. Pfaff recently had a PTS 997.2 RS with a replacement engine that they couldnt get rid of for over a month just below a 160 asking price with 10k on it. It didnt have a CPO because of the money **** the car encourred .

I wrote replacement engine. But the color combo would be a 3-4 k fix and you would have a beautiful PTS 997.2 RS. i saw that car on the road a few times and even with the orange and red it looked soo good.

Good luck on finding a resolution OP. If you plan on keeping the car long term and enjoying it then its worth fighting to get what you deserve.

In my opinion, the car will eternally be cursed in your minds eye.

I would sell it back to them for the full price. Considering all the taxes and BS, they should honour that... The N-rated tires stuff is just BS and petty... then just move on to something else. The other option would be to accept cash for the reduction of CPO, get the RMS fixed independently, and love the car.

Personally, the reason why I hate ANY warranty, and avoid buying cars with any warranty, is simply because even if something major breaks, there is no guarantee that it will be covered. I tend to just accept the risk to make life easier for me... Just my $0.02... I know many disagree...

I'm not trying to be a dick but Pfaff is their customer not you. Explains a lot, no?

Sounds like you are getting screwed over, but just be prepaired that if you lawyer up , Pfaff can afford a pretty expensive legal team. Im sure they do this kind of stuff at their dealerships all day long.

The point of sending a lawyer's letter is to incentivize them to offer a better deal. If I were you, I'd retain one of the leading litigation counsel in Ontario (Lexpert and Chambers Global are good resources). Hopefully they'll figure it isn't worth their trouble and will offer you a better deal.

I don't think PCNA controls nor influences Porsche Canada. Just send them a letter and then sue them in small claims court. Or you could make a video like that Nick guy did last year.
