From somebody who picks up dimes from the street and sees 40 bucks as a premium case of 24 it's worth a phone call. For sure the parking spot is a rental but when somebody overstays a $5.00 spot for a few minutes then surely a $40 surcharge is unreasonable. Was $40.00s of revenue denied because the spot was taken or is this just a punitive money grab. If they parked overnight in a crowded lot I can see the rationale but this one reeks as a punitive money grab. As stated earlier a phone call asking for consideration will do wonders. The policy is in place because it's understood that people will just dumb up and pay without question. Don't be that person.
