History on a 356
Hello,
I am a member of the Porsche Club Ireland where one of the members has a green 356 that has been imported to Ireland a few years ago.
Unfortunately the car came with very little history to follow its "previous" life.
Porsche AG in Germany was able to tell that the car was delivered to Toronto, as a demonstrator car on the 9th of April 1962. The car war ruby-red with fulda tyres.
Thats all the info they shared.
I have tried to contact Porsche Canada online but the online form seems to be broken.
What other ways to get information would you suggest?
The cars chassis no is 210348 and the engine no P1608359

You can always try 1-800-porsche. Give them the VIN and they'll provide you with whatever info they have. It might take a few days, and they might not have much. For my 72 911, I was able to get the engine #, transmission # and options codes.
I just called my contact at the Ministry of Transportation. She ran the VIN (210348) and she said there's no record of that VIN in the system at all.
