Turns out the mechanic that "certified" the car was fiddling with the horn to get it to work and neglected to tighten the negative battery strap tightly onto the terminal causing the airbag light to come on.

More of a hassle than anything, but does anyone in Toronto mid-town have a durametric that can help me reset the light?
