The top mounted location of hot exhaust pipes are very close to the fuel filler on the 918. Could have been vapor igniting or someone who wasn't careful and swung the hose that still had a bit of fuel in the nozzle. Anyway, given the number of cars that get gas everyday and don't catch on fire, coupled with the relative newness of the 918, Porsche could have a real problem on their hands again.

Ok do we have one shot in kW. One shot at the island airport. And one shot at the dealership last week being prepped for delivery.
I wonder which one is which.

pfaff has "delivered" 2 - the one that was stuck at the dealership and the other that was done as a euro delivery and has not crossed the atlantic yet. dont' know what dowtown has been doing.

Do you know if the one " stuck at the dealership" is still there or is it the car stated above ?

no - to clarify it was stuck at the dealership for a few weeks at least (i saw it there end of august), and was delivered to its owner aweek or two ago.

Correction. 2 have been delivered by Pfaff, the last one a week ago Saturday had the uber expensive paint treatment
