A 918 CarBQ is not good but it does look like a fueling error ans the hose is on the ground.
I wonder also how protected they are against static discharge.

Porsche should make the 918 out of whatever material that indestructible squeegee is made from.

I noticed as well but based on the initial pictures of the blaze saving a car 918 or other would be the last thing on my mind. Metal and rubber can be replaced people can't be.

First thing, I'm guessing that this didn't start without a loud WOOF. There was probably very little time to do much and there would have been heat! I bet they grabbed one from another spot.

Apart from the obvious sadness of losing the car, has to be cause for concern in terms of design. Will be interesting to see in detail what the cause was.
