Yes, four of us were there and on behalf of the Rennlist community we extended our condolences to the family and had some time to speak with them. All is good and Anne, Jaak's sister was very appreciative of the thoughts of our little community, She knew right away when I said car guys, and she said Rennlist? She hasn't yet had time to read through all the posts, but said she would.

Jaak's memorial program had his photograph in his Porsche jacket. His beloved old dog Thor was at the service, and greeted all the attendees with many wags.

Thanks for attending the ceremony JimV8, Ronan and eyedoc. It was great to have RL and the Porsche Club represented for Jaak.

Jaak had not wanted any fuss. We got to listen to several of his friends speak about him with great affection. Jaak's friend, Dan, gave a particularly moving and humorous speech and then took his aisle seat in Church. He no sooner sat down when Jaak's dog, Thor, quickly walked down the aisle, stopped by Dan, looked up at him and gave him a playful growl. Something Jaak would have done. Classic!

I never knew Jaak personally but Ive known for a long time that he is one of those few people that is really out to help others and make the world a better place.

The railings on my house are a prime example. He guided me through PMs how to rebuild them, and they're awesome because of that.

A great loss. Wish I had met him.

Just came across this today. Have not frequented here as much lately. So sad.

RIP Jaak. I never met you, but I have great respect for your online persona. You will be missed.
