Where can I buy water wetter in the GTA?

Partsource and Canadian Tire carry it, might want to look into the negative effects W.W. has on metal parts before going that route IMHO

Yes, its been debated. Basically all the the race cars are running it or a product similar to it. I am fairly certain the product contains enough lubricant for the coolant system.

Pmed you the # for Speedworx. They're a bike race shop but they keep Motul's MoCool on the shelf which is the same thing as water wetter except more readily available.
Not all canadian tires carry water wetter unfortunately. I think JRP has it out in mississauga but I havn't gone there in years. It's just easier for me to get/use MoCool.

is there something wrong with your cooling system that necessitates the additive? do you have the 3rd radiator and are still seeing temps move up above normal? Or are you just swapping to water for track days.

My local partsource said they used to carry water wetter but have replaced it with another product called Royal Purple Ice. So picked up 2 bottles of it.

Ah well reading the mix directions, it looks like water wetter would have been cheaper. Royal Purple Ice requires 2 oz per quart with straight drinking watter. I'll need 5 bottles for 30 quarts vs 2 bottle of WW.
at 13.50 a bottle it is more expensive.

IIRC R.P. product is better because it offers similar heat transfer and lubrication properties but doesn't eat at aluminum like W.W. does...worth every penny

Sorry, just saw this thread now. If you're looking for water wetter in the future, feel free to PM me. We keep it around for our Chumpcar since we're only allowed to run water in our cooling system and water wetter is the only additive allowed.
