Had the C4S detailed by Wes (with pics)
After over 50K and two winters, my 2010 C4S started showing signs of aging. The hood looked like it was sand blasted, swirls and scrathes were becoming visible even when the car was not clean. The car need a good polish. I also wanted to remove the cracking clear bra and the rear fender guard to be later replaced with new items. After reading tons of great reviews, I decided to contact our fellow RLer Wes(Wes_R).
I was sure the car would need many hours of what Wes calls "full paint correction" (see his website http://oriondetailing.co/), but Wes managed to get jaw droping results with just a 2 stage polish. I also had the interior done which included my seats being leather cleaned and conditioned with Leatherique and my engine being cleaned and dressed.
The level of attention to detail is second to none. I mean I couldnt find a spec of dust anywhere. The interior looks like it was never sat in. The carperts are like new WOW!!!. Not to mention the paint looks like it just came off the line. Even the hood looks awesome.

Very nice, love the colour choice.
This also shows you what dealers do to their cars to make them look like new. The buyer will think the car always looked this way and that's hardly ever the case. I prefer to buy my car directly from the owner, untouched. This way I know exactly what I'm getting.

In the end I decided I'm way to picky to let someone else detail my car and didn't feel like being dissapointed again after trying a few detail shops in the past. I've had the car 2.5 weeks and it has only been driven 94km! Still in my garage with plenty of work to do but it's coming out perfectly.

Was that paint thickness measurement "before" or "after" paint correction?
Good info because I was wondering if the 110 I was measuring with the same device was in the ball park.
