Default Porsche Dealership lighted sign for sale – Cambridge, ON

Hello all,

I have a very rare Porsche Dealership sign for sale. Maybe from the mid 80’s.

Sign is 6 foot by 6 foot, with light fixtures, and box.

I purchased 2 of these signs (front and back) from a shop in the parries this summer. I built proper boxes for the signs, and installed 4 48” florescent strip lights (just like the originally had). The signs have a standard switch on the bottom of the frame, and can either be wired up to your garage circuit, or just plugged into an extension cord. The signs were originally with a white frame, but I thought they looked much nicer with a black frame so I painted the frames gloss black.

I finally got around to mounting up one of the signs last week.

IT LOOKS AMAZING!

I was planning on putting the other sign up on the other wall of my garage, but I have realized that I need that wall space for large tools, ladders, etc, so I have decided to see if someone wants to buy my other sign.

The signs are in excellent shape with no damage. Amazing for their age. The Porsche crests are perfect. I wanted to give the Plexiglas a real good scrub, but I did not have the time. I’ll do that in the spring.

The signs have shipping crates, but I will not have the time to look into shipping until mid Jan at the earliest. So I would like to offer one of these signs to someone for pick-up just east of Cambridge Ontario, or I could deliver in T.O. for $50, or the surrounding areas for $100.

Price is $3000. That may seem like a lot, but this sign is HUGE and very impressive, you will not find these anywhere, and if I smashed one of them with a ladder or something, I would not sell the other for $5K.

Feel free to ask any questions……with the exception of shipping quotes. I don’t have the time for that legwork yet.

Thanks,
Michael

Why Try, I may still have it then.

Jim, but you can tell the wife "it's not a car part, it's a light fixture to pretty up the home".

Yeah, right. It's not the light it's the 3 grand part that would be the cause of my premature death.

Jim, from personal experience with large tractor parts and attachments, I find it far less stressful to beg for forgiveness as the truck is seen driveing down the driveway....and this is the season for that isn't it

It's kind of hard to beg forgiveness if you're dead isn't it?

So true. Imagine at the funeral.. People would say " what killed him". Others would say in hushed voices.
" a sign".

A serious mancave!

If I lived in a man-made like this one I'd have to have that sign! But alas, I'm married.
