GTA Alert ! Mt.Pleasant reduced to 40 kmh
Just a heads up if you use Mt .Pleasant north and south to and from Jarvis .St has now been reduced to 40kmh from 50 kmh and the cops have been there daily especially on weekends "reminding" drivers the limit has now been reduced. Really easy to pick up speed there since it is up and down hill... 40 kmh ... the scooters and e-bikes go faster than 40 kmh ! Speed cams also going to be installed shortly there ...

Last weekend when I went up to Downtown Audi I was shocked to see 40 zones on the Bayview extension. It felt like I was standing still. Seems crazy slow for that road.

Waterloo Region.
what's the leeway on those speed cameras in school zones? I remember to slow down most times, but sometimes I'm not quite at the speed limit yet.... haven't received a ticket yet.
I come across the one on Keatsway in Wloo once in a while as well as the one on Three bridges road between St Jacobs and Elmira....
And do they record both directions of traffic?

Kingston Rd. has been a 40 zone east of Vic Park for a few years. I thought that was nuts back then. I guess we have to protect people who's heads are buried in their phones
I was in the city yesterday, it was unrecognizable.
I don't regret leaving.
