WTB: Track/Street car for DE & Lapping sessions
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to acquire a track focused and prepped car for DE and open lapping sessions. I'd like to keep it simple -- RWD, manual shift, relatively simple to maintain and affordable (so that potential track incidents, wear & tear can be less worrisome). Something like a 944, E46 M3, older carerra, etc. It also must be street legal so that I can drive it to the track.

Don't have to be perfect finish, I will recondition them, but must be straight and true without any curbing or cracks.

Volvo V70 and/or VW Touareg TDI
I know this is a long shot but there are a couple used vehicles I'm trying to find good examples of...
2007-2010 (3rd gen) Volvo V70 with the NA 3.2. Looking specifically for the V70, not interested in the XC cross country version which seriously dominates the market. Not picky on options, but prefer FWD, less than ~130,000km and full service history, $12-15k
2011/2012 Touareg TDI. These are much easier to find than the Volvo, but I'd prefer to find private sale than used car dealership. Again, not picky on options but would like tow package, less than ~120,000km and full service history, $30-34k.
If anyone has a line on either of the above, please let me know via PM.
