Raising Rear Spoiler Manually
Greetings from Downunder.
I have a C2S with a Turbo tail and I've now purchased a complete rear decklid and intend replacing the spoiler grill with the split grill which is correct for my car. Most of what I've read says to "manually raise the spoiler to the half or three quarter position" (using the switch on the console) as its obviously easier to work with it raised....however with my lid sitting on the garage floor its not connected to any power!! Is there a way to raise it "manually"...ie without power.....I've tried lifting it gently but it doesn't want to move move than a couple of inches and I'm not about to tempt fate.
Also there are lots of informative snippets here and there regarding the conversion which I'm trying to digest but is there a step by step "how to" from start to finish anywhere please.
Cheers and thanks in advance.
