Agree, it's fine in the original cars but it won't go with the RSR seats. Not enough visual length to pull it off.
Not yet, still hanging on.

Good point Doug. But I intend to do that at the very least once a week when Im back (and probably a few mid week sneaky solos).

Hopefully I wont have to drive to the big A to have a decent coffee and wear loafers!

Speaking of missing things (perhaps), Macca have you had any feedback from the new owner of your baby?

Seller has other top tier cars as well. All UK imports from the looks of things. Expect someone is making about $60k on the 991 (by my calcs $215ish to land a 991 Turbo S).

Macca - I'll feel for you. I struggled leaving the islands in Japan when I was visiting this year, and I was only there for a week!

Jake Im not sure on your math. That TM car is Turbo. Assume its old 139K GBP VATQ then landed on road is $250k and margin 30K NZD at asking price?

Your math is sound. I'd assumed it was picked up for around £120k. Seems overpriced at £139!

Jake. Its a brand new delivery miles Generation 2 991 Turbo with a reasonable options list.

Im guessing in NZ if you ordered that car from a dealer you would be paying $350K?

So it is still a 20% saving for someone buying new I guess...

This should make it simpler to see the difference. Similar option would be around $365K NZD from NZ dealer.

I suggest we roll with Michelle from now on

Macca I also didn't realise it was a 991.2. Makes it more appealing. I'd been looking into 991.1 Turbo S as an option, hence my view of figures.

$415k for the gen 2 seems ludicrous given how quickly they devalue!

Opps. Sorry Michael!

Yes Turbo are one of the fastest depreciating models unfortunately. I would say the average gen2 TurboS would land in with options in NZ around 435K on road...

Don't know what you guys are talking about, Pasha is top shelf to me. Going to a Big Chill themed party tonight and I reckon if I took a red G series with Pasha and rolled up in that I would be king biscuit and possibly the best accessorised on the night!
