I'll mention it to him. He bought the about 4 months ago (?) from Giltraps. Im sure on the quiet back roads, sans driveways and sheep it gets a jolly good spanking. I cant wait to hear the wail on Tuesday

I have posted on the RSG FB page. If you want to race next Saturday it's time to commit.

I've just requested access to the RSG Facebook page... Who's the administrator?

My ambition is to die without FB (getting harder all the time), but suggested already on RSG forum that I'd be happy to enter her under another number eg 611 or whatever for the other Sat run group and share the drive.

Not terribly hard to fix Doug. Maybe 2 hrs and a couple of grams of grease. I had it in Mr Blue when I first got him. Drove me nuts. But then I'm that guy who has to get up in the middle of the night in a boat at anchor because something somewhere is tapping...

I thought about going but ended up doing things around the house and getting the Integra race car ready for tomorrow's deluge. See you the day after, hopefully in the dry. I'll try and keep up with you in the C4. - fat chance of that.

Basically getting the crew together. I have told the guys to choose BB2 and the Grinch first. You and I may end up with BB. I think that's fair as there's more risk with BB qualifying than the others and they need to get out there before the Dunlop 800.

Hi john, posted in RSG and on FB . I am in for either of the two cars . Will just be good to get some seat time. See you all on Tuesday when the choice of cars will be difficult. Gt3 or 944 which Steve has fixed. Nice problem to have. Cheers Neil

My ambition too Walter. I have always said that FB is for women and P**fters.
The first lot have too much to say that isn't relevant and the second lot act like the first lot.

Edit; unless of course it is used for serious Porsche talk!

100% with you on that. Happy to drive anything with (4) wheels! If you get a full card of 7 though, drop me first as I've had the most seat time (as headed down twice to Taupo).

Another jaffa here. Long time lurker (8 years.. time flys).

Bit of history: My first P-car was an '88 944 2.5L, and then an '86 944 Turbo, both daily driven. Unfortunately I had to sell the 951 as I went to work in Japan for a year.
Since coming back I have had an MX5, and currently drive a stock S15 200SX Spec R2, which is a nice car. But recently I've been getting cravings for an older Euro. The Japanese cars I have had just don't give me the same feelings as I remember my past Euro cars did.

Anyway, thought I would try here to see if anyone has or knows someone who may sell their 944. I'm not picky about year or engine as long as it is manual. It will be my only car, so it has to have been well maintained and running problem-free, not a project car.

By the way, is this the only online refuge us NZ P-car enthusiasts have? Or is there a NZ Porsche forum that I do not know about?

Oh you cranky old duffers! You're just debating which forum you like best, really. RL vs FB. Reminds me of that joke involving price & a prostitute.

Speaking of, anyone have a 6 foot condom they can loan out for today?
