For $140K - I'd rather have this one:

http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/car30.html

Or even this one

http://www.autotrader.com.au/cars-fo...cktext=Results

With such a hot market and a long cue of early 911 buyers, the car would have sold without the need to advertise if priced to meet the market??

I don't wish to diss the car - it is beautiful and my dad had an orange 911E targa as a first Porsche.

Walked past that shop every day for 2 months while I was in Sydney. Full of amazing cars and a lot of great 993s and early Porsches go through there.

Sort of place you visit if you win lotto.

Saw your 2 cars at Razzo's Sean - looking very nice.

Looking forward to seeing the race car out there. Will be interesting it see how it measures up against Steve's 964.

John, might be time to move to this forum though you may have to turn your hat around to get accepted.

Haha. I am a member of NZ Honda and the 2k cup forums. That seems to be enough for now. It's a means to an end rather than a passion for the Marque.

BTW just had a sump baffle delivered for the Grinch. The seller sold racing Ray his Integra. Apparently he just did 1.22.6 on old shocks!

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...64-refurb.html

Does anyone know a company in NZ that does a lovely job like these guys of refurbing brake calipers? http://www.brakecaliperrefurbs.co.uk

Sorry John I missed your asking for assistance with the Honda. What about SAtUrday sometime? Seems as if she was a good buy if you can get the wheels off. Who is the best to contact Terry for the exam. Paul? I don't know Terry so can't really ask.

Neil, there's a possibility the Black VTI-R will be available to view this weekend in Pukekohe. It would be good if you were available to join maybe the 2 Chris' and check it out. That would be our second race car. I'll let you know by Friday if that's possible. Otherwise I'm still collecting parts and going to Supercheap for a tool to get the blessed lug nuts off. A stupid design. It only needs one for that...I hope.

I think that is a style of locknut. You may be able to buy the locknut key at Supercheap as it's a relatively common design. Otherwise yes, a hammered on socket should work.

Neil, I have updated the Rennsport Page. Today I sourced SRF, alloys and ordered tyres. Of it is wet we could use the time gainfully to get the tyres fitted. Visit the wreckers and try and get rye existing wheel nuts off. I tried the socket method last night by I need a multi splined one I get a tighter fit.
