Sam came over and we swapped my primary bypass over onto his 964. He's now got a cat bypass, primary bypass and only the secondary muffler to quieten things down. So same setup as I had and john has on Herman (assuming he has the cat bypass?). The car sounds great. I've removed my loan secondary muffler (compliments of John) after I blew the baffles in mine on the SITT and I've reinstalled my primary. So I now have cat bypass, primary muffler through G pipe (yet to order) to the single outlet. So mine will be similar to the yellow race car Steve built. Pity I can't start it to see how she sounds. Broken oil cooler is still installed and would result in a big oil puddle. Would post photos but the iOS app api is still broken (parser error) sigh.
Btw. I'm downloading those manuals b4 the copyright police take them off me. I'll put them on the seagate drive for tomorrow with all of the SITT videos and your special slow mo accident video

Manuals downloaded. Body section has partial and complete renewal of front section. Who needs a panel beater ?

Anyone wanting to have a copy of the SITT videos will need 21gb of space.

Sam had a nice straight cat bypass pipe instead of his cat but gutting a cat would do the trick too. He said it felt like he had quite a bit more power on the way home. I don't know how much less resistance you get from having no primary muffler but given the volume increase there's a lot less for the exhaust to have to put up with before exiting :-D

Ive been looking through some old receipts (dangerous) and found my receipt for the Porsche calliper decals.
This is the company I got them from (in the UK):

Half way. Got the new car on the trailer. Drives like she's drunk. A fair bit of work to do on the bushes etc. still she revs like she wants to race

First impression is that she's a screamer not a shrieker.

yep maybe not a lot more power but something small maybe, I've seen claims of 10hp. but never can believe that. one thing is for sure the noise is much more aggressive. good to have the spare primary if it ever gets too much.
