where are u all?
Have found an incredibel road in RAK, newly opened (about two months) ive driven in once and its amazing!!
Takes about an hour from Dubai, and we are planning on setting off early on a friday in a few weeks time.
Me - 997.1 GT3 + 997.2 GT3 + 987 CS so far are attending.
who else is keen for the drive?

Nov 29th I may well be in. Where abouts is the road? I found one in RAK this weekend that looked good but it had big red signs saying "military area, no photos, keep away" so I kept away!

The Porsche Club UAE had a nice drive recently to Fujairah, are you members of the Porsche Club too? We have been 52 cars at the last meet....
Anyhow, I will also be on the next track day November 21. Maybe I see any of you there?
Let me know when you will do the drive, would love to join.

howdie. afraid we are not members of the uae porsche club yet, think i would get thrown out with the condition of ours although its a 'work in progress'!! plan is to join soon and join in on the events which look great. the road looks great tho, lets generate some enthusiasm for a blast up there.

Ok, I can get another friend to join us in his cayman s. But EVERYBODY is welcome in the Porsche club! no matter which Porsche and in which condition. It's all about the spirit. And the more "story" there is to a car the better. I will be at the track day on the 21st. And will be on our "hill climb" too :-)

Yeah, iom a P Club member, and should make Yas on teh 21st... although my Tyres are shot!
As he said, all Porsche's are welcome, there is a real mix of beauty and power there... and even if you dont track, the socail patr is pretty good also

will definately be joining you guys, hopefully sooner rather than later but it depends. targa rooof is now out and all cleaned up, just waiting some parts for the reassembly - i am doing the roof, arm are putting in new rear window and rear qtr light seals. its a fiddly job.

I just joined the Porsche Club UAE and have registered for the Feb 21st event to RAK.
Car is in ARM having a full panels off, glass out respray before I start refitting the Targa roof providing I can get all of the parts I need.
