Racing books?
Looking for recommendations. Could be technical on cars, data acquisition, technique, ... Historical. Biographic. ...
I've read:
The Art of Racing in the Rain
Making Sense of Squigly Lines
Speed Secrets -- Multiple ones
Go Like Hell
A couple of Vic Elford books
How about we start a reading list.

I like Paul Frere's Sportscar and Competition Driving as well as Bob Bondurant on High Performance Driving.

Three Wheelin'
I enjoyed both of these.
There's also The Limit by Michael Cannell
Senna; The Whole Story by Christopher Hilton
I've read a lot of Christopher Hilton's F1 books and really enjoy them. Most are biographical but enjoyable and in depth. There are also a couple books he's written called Memories of... (I've read the Senna and Hunt books) and they're full of great anecdotal bits about the subjects which I've not seen elsewhere.
Niki Lauda has written (co-written) a few good books;
The Fundamentals of Grand Prix Driving
F1: The Turbo Years
My Life at Ferrari

For a historical (and oftentimes hysterical) perspective :
Touch Wood! Duncan Hamilton
All Arms and Elbows--Innes Ireland
Mon Ami Mate--Chris Nixon (story of Mike Hawthorn/Peter Collins)

IMO, Taruffi's Technique of Motor Racing and Adam Bouillard's 3 series books on the Perfect Corner and Perfect Control are the only books an intermediate to advanced and accomplished race drive needs to step their game up notch (es). Skip Barber's on Going Faster, is good for beginners and novice drivers. For full disclosure, all these books are in my library.

The latter is simply superb. Going Faster explains the best execution of fundamental skills and Taruffi is baseline study of optimal geometry and how to get there.
I REALLY like Sam Moses (who still races in historics) "Fast Guys, Rich Guys and Idiots."
