Any MotoGP fans?
Should be another really exciting year. First race is this weekend in Qatar. Hoping this season is as exciting as last. I think 9 different riders had a win last year! Lots to watch; can Marquez repeat, can Vinales beat him on the Yamaha, can Rossi keep up with his new teammate, does the wall go back up, how does Jorge handle the Ducati, does Cal pick up where he left off, can Dani do anything with the Honda, is Aprilia still dismally off pace not to mention it's KTM's first year, this should be really exciting stuff!!
My prediction is it comes down to Marquez and Vinales... Can't wait for FP1 tomorrow and the race Sunday night!
Not to mention the absolute madness and chaos that is Moto3, watching those guys is as exciting as GP! The drafting fanning out to 4 and 5 wide into the corners sometimes is heart stopping stuff.
OK, anyone else as excited for this as I am?? Predictions, thoughts?

For those that don't watch or haven't seen this year they reverse grid the top 10 in race 2 now. Makes it really exciting.

I read about it as a subscriber to MotorSport mag where they do give it decent coverage--though I'm not a fanatic I do appreciate what these guys do; they HAVE to be the bravest racers on the planet . Is Rossi still in the picture at all as a contender? I recall a few years back he was to test for F1, but I DON'T remember if he ever did or not.

Big fan since '95. Motogp rookies won't disappoint. Lorenzo will wrestle with the Ducati but will adapt. Vinales is the real deal and I hope he stays modest. Moto 3 is great racing and Bulega will soon be a Motogp star.

Maverick certainly looked strong today!!! Almost a half second up I think... I agree, he is the real deal just needs to forget about MM this year and focus on himself and he should kill it. If MM gets in his head his maturity will really be tested. Agree on Bulega as well Moto3 is probably the most fun to actually watch lol.

I'm a fan and I try to follow. However, last year was a big black hole as far as TV coverage - I didn't see a single MotoGP race. Glad Marquez won after the fiasco with Rossi the previous year.
I see lots of Moto2 names in GP this year. Gonna be strange hearing their names in GP after hearing them constantly throughout the GP2 races in the past - that is, if I get to watch any races this year.....

I've only been following it for a few years (since F1 became boring) and absolutely love it!! Wish I was a bigger fan prior, especially during Rossi's prime. Watching old highlights of his battles with Stoner etc. are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately father time has caught up with him.
Predictions with regard to this year, Lorenzo will struggle on the Ducati. Pedrosa will still be a clear #2 to Marquez. Marquez will have a great year, but not as good as Vinales. From what I've read, Vinales was just as good as Marquez when they used to race against each other in their younger years with Marquez being a couple years older than Maverick. Marquez of course broke into MotoGP on the best bike in the field in 2013 as a clear #1 rider and Rossi and Lorenzo battled each other for points with Lorenzo aiding Marquez a couple years ago... shameful!!
Vinales will be magic on the Yamaha and win the title over Marquez with Rossi's getting a win here or there.
