Default Indy Team Auction...

Saw this on FB and actually some phenomenal things up for auction, everything from tools, laptops, radios, shop equipment, haulers, right down to office supplies, cabinets and chairs. You name it and it seems to be up for sale... Certain parts are limited to current Chevy Indy car teams but even some of the memorabilia is pretty cool.

I was thinking of the Display Car as a simulator

Either that or the 52 foot hauler for the Boxster and I would be ideal!

In all seriousness I am sure some people here could make very good use of a lot of what is up for auction so thought I would share...

So if you win something, you have to drive out to Indianapolis to pick it up? Or do they have a shipper associated with the auction?

Sad to see these race teams going out of business.

Tough, tough way to make a living

What do they say...

If you want to make a small fortune in racing, start with a large fortune

I bid on a few things but didn't win. Most of the stuff sold for pretty big $s IMO.

^^ I also bid on some stuff, but it seemed on most of the items buyers overpaid.

However, I wish I had the $40K for the 52' transporter. That seems like a steal.

We ended up with a 26' box truck filled with stuff. Depending on what you bought it went from 40-60c on the dollar. But everything was well taken care of. Lots of heavy hitters with deep pockets.

The EMA dyno was what we had our eye on and IIRC it sold for 45g's, 125 new.

I have a team jacket from the 91 Porsche team. (Teo Fabi). Anybody interested?
