I have the Flex. Just used it over the weekend and it felt great. As for the notch placement, the manual states that it should be between 0-45 degrees.

Thanks that picture in the install guide is tiny and it's nearly impossible to see which way the notch is pointing. Still debating if I want to keep this thing. Everything about it just seems 2nd rate compared to my HANS. The hardware is even cheap, I mean a plastic base ring for the posts, come on Schroth.

Necksgen Rev here. No comfort issues. The only time I remember it's there is turning my head to pickup the apex at 5B at Mosport!

I use the Simpson Hybrid Pro. I find it very comfortable and works well with 3 point belts/seats and race seats 5/6 pt harness.

Below is the link to the instruction manual for the SHR Flex. Page 6 shows the anchor should be positioned between 0 and 45 degrees (similar to hans anchor) with the notch facing the rear of the helmet. Looks like your installation is correct.

Thank you, one small issue I had when installing the anchors is how much to tighten it down. Too loose and it would spin out of position when trying to click in the tether end. Too tight and you can't push the spring down far enough to engage it.

I tried the necksgen but as stated earlier, it rode back on my shoulders too much for my liking. I switched to the traditional HANS and don't have that problem.

Once the anchor is started on the helmet, I would put the tether onto the anchor, then tighten it down snug. We do that with HANS anchors if we don't have the tool to adjust the collar anchor during installation.

Good idea, I'll try that. Thanks

I haven't done any geometry recently but to me that slot angle is not 0-45, but 225-270 degrees from level. The left side would be 90-135 degrees.
