Default Cota cart track?

Heard it's started construction? Anyone with any inside scoop? I'm really hoping there will be a place I can get my 7 year old into karting in Austin

Any idea what access will be like? Club to join or cost per day? Only events like de's? Not even sure how msr Houston's cart track is run. Like I said I want to get my 7 year old son into driving and hope this might work cause there is no cart track in Austin except for k1

I don't know yet. Management and staff at COTA seems to change daily...

Huh—did Driveway stop doing karts? That was the most fun place I'd done karts in town but it's been a while.

MSR-H, IIRC, we were able to just walk in during LeMons once and sign up like it was K1. Put our name on the list and raced that because my car was dead. Haha. I think it varies with the schedule, though.

No idea what COTA's karts are going to be like.

Well, priced like that anyway.

One of these days I'll finally try the MSRH carting track - it looks like a lot of fun.

I always forget about driveway. Never been there but they do have karts. I'll give them a call and inquire. Driveway seems really interesting. It's rarely talked about and I don't know anyone that goes there but definitely seems like a resource to scope out
