Porsche mounts 305 on a 12" rim in 20" diameter (so tire has a shorter sidewall) on my GT3 and it seems to work. Start with a comparable to OEM street tire (N spec) and the 19" rims will give you the ability to go stickier as your skill increases.
Thank you. The car came with the 20s P-Zero and after I damaged the one OE wheel and went to 19s, I went with PSS tires. After driving the car for a bit, I see now that the 305 fits much better on the 12" rim and I did do research and Porsche mounted the 305/30 on the GT3 for a few years. In fact, that specific tire was meant for rim width up to 11.5 (not 12). So, if Porsche says it's ok, then it's ok!

My plan is to run the 305 tire as is on the 19x12 and I believe it'll be perfectly fine. Once I start doing more DE events and it's time to replace the tires, I may consider 325/30 instead.

again full specs help to clarify things
for MPSS
305/35 x19 wheel spec is 10 to 12"
305/30 x19 wheel spec is 10.5 to 11.5

the reason for the difference is the shorter sidewalls on the /30 won't cover as much width when stretched.

A slight stretch is fine safety wise but will put your wheel at higher risk of damage from the use of curbing/gators. 345 sounds like the optimal width for the wheel though so just order them on your next set.

345 would fit for sure. My concern is introducing a lot of understeer by going with 345 in the rear and not scaling up the front. Car comes with 245/305 so going to 245/345 seems a bit drastic and I think may really change the handling characteristics and car's natural balance.

What you have is already pretty good. Get some seat time in, do some events before trying to tweak your car.

Your biggest priority is gaining skills and that takes seat time.

The slippery slope of spending money on go-faster parts will come soon enough.

Be faster than your equipment.
