Just emailed the registrar, and they wouldnt even give me a clue. It is crap that less than 2 weeks out they cant assign run groups. How the heck are you supposed to book airfare.

That's a great old video. Dave Sadowski worked for me for a while about 100 years after that video was shot.

That's not an acceptable answer for any race series, especially when some groups (not this time at Rd ATL but it's always the same issue for every event) will be done before lunch and some before 5pm. That makes a HUGE difference in booking flights and getting home at a reasonable time for some people.
There's no legit reason the run groups haven't been assigned already.
Still my pet peeve with PCA.....

Sorry, not trying to shoot the messenger.
All the shops and their drivers rely on a solid event schedule for travel planning. It's a critical piece of logistics and event planning.

No I get it and I know we are always done by 5ish. I also am not slamming the volunteers, I do appreciate everything they do, but in the past I always got a hint like... dont hold me to this but you probably are in the yellow group... You know what I am saying
I am in a stock E class, gambling I am the yellow run group. We would get slaughtered in the last run group with the GT3Rs.
Headed back to california, so just trying to get a head start on a long day, after a long day at the track.

There are plenty of hotels within 10-15mins of the track.
I sent a letter to Vicki expressing concern over not having the schedule nailed down, and will also try to bring it up at the meetings next weekend.

So what's kinda interesting....there are 145 cars signed up for the enduro, with 19 of them being GT4CS group, leaving 126 cars to be split between 2 groups!!! That's average of 63 cars/group on a 2.5 mile track....and only 19 in the GT4 group...
And my wife asked why I'm not doing the enduro...

Looking at the car counts, it looks like grouping might be a challenge. But great to see so many people signed up this year. It's an awesome race!
