Default Self-Adhesive Sheets / Body Damage

What is the name of the product that I have seen used
in NASCAR to temporarily repair body damage?

Its not Racers Tape. This stuff comes is self adhesive
sheets, say, two feet by three feet.

I've done a google search, but can't seem to find it.

Thanks!

You can always just make some from your racer's tape. I know some teams that have done that when necessary.

Might check Longacre racing, Pegasus or Summit racing products. They have a lot of the roundy round equipment.

Try BSR in Charlotte at: http://www.bsrproducts.com/productframe.html

I always assumed they just made large patches/sheets of it with racers tape.

Well, this became a bit of a quest. But, I did find the product.

The "large tape band aids" are from Hutcherson - Pagan Products out of Charlotte, NC. Their phone number is 704-597-1372. Its not on their site
but here is the URL http://www.hutch-pagan.com/.

The product is called "Bear Bond" and currently comes in a kit that
includes different size pieces. About $120.

Special thanks to Petty Enterprises for their help.

If you're looking to reduce chips, you could also try the very cheap alternative of contact paper, the adhesive-backed vinyl stuff that women use to line your shelves and drawers when they move in with you. You can get it in a lot of colors, and it has an adhesive that's gentle on paint. I ran a week-long event earlier this year, where I had the stuff on top of new paint. I put it on in a hurry (lots of wrinkles), but it stayed stuck and peeled off without a problem:
