Interesting to see them using the Race Technology DL1 & Dash 4. AIM is a lot more popular in the US these days but the Race Technology makes some nice looking systems:

The Race Technology stuff is a little bit easier to move from car to car. When you're instrumenting multiple cars or moving equipment around it is more portable which makes it a bit advantageous.

Is that car a bit modified? Race seats, goes through corners flat, no speed limiter, and stock brakes would be on fire (I would assume).. If that's off the showroom floor it's quite the DE car!

They do offer a carbon type bucket in the Corvette GS, carbon ceramics and cup2 tires. If those trickle down...then maybe.

i think that box has limited slush.
unreal! put a manual or a closer couple of gears at the end and i bet it gets to 190mph. most of the RPM drop down to, in the "track mode", start out at 5500 in each gear, the last two or three (i cant remember) drop down to 4900-5200 i bet with 650hp and a blower, thats losing hp right there. (maybe only 25hp according to the dyno graph)
crazy, there are 4 gears just from 114mph to 171mph. (6 gears from just before 80mph) Oh, and by the way... the close gears are not to keep the engine at peak torque for those still wondering. (peak torque is at 3500rpm)
I was thinking the same..... mostly about the tires. they are squealing, so they had tread, but DOT Rs??

No, the only mods are safety gear as per standard GM practice these days; roll bar, seats and harnesses, and fire system... and DL1/Dash4 for external data logging. Tires, brakes, etc., are indeed showroom stock.
